SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- WEEK-7

  DAY 28(20/1/25,MONDAY)

Today, I conducted an achievement test in class 8C on the unit Area, Algebraic Identities, and Their Applications. The test was carefully designed to assess students' conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. The students approached it with enthusiasm and focus, working diligently to complete it within the allotted time. Upon reviewing their answers, I observed that most students demonstrated a strong understanding of the concepts, accurately applying formulas and solving problems with confidence. However, some misconceptions and errors, particularly related to algebraic identities, were noticeable. Identifying these weaknesses will help me provide targeted interventions and personalized guidance to address their difficulties effectively. After the test, we participated in serving the midday meal. As the day concluded with the National Anthem, we left the school at 3:45 p.m., feeling accomplished.

 DAY 29(21/1/25,TUESDAY)

Today, I conducted a diagnostic test to assess students' prior knowledge and identify learning gaps in mathematics. The purpose of the test was to evaluate their strengths and areas needing improvement before introducing a new concept. Based on the results, I conducted a remedial session on identities, addressing the specific difficulties students faced. This test proved to be an essential tool in shaping my teaching strategies, ensuring a more effective and targeted approach to learning. The day was truly fulfilling, as we also participated in serving the midday meal, fostering a sense of community and care. After the National Anthem, we left the school at 3:45 p.m., feeling accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the students' learning journey.

 DAY 30(22/1/25,WEDNESDAY)

Today marked the final day of my teaching practice, Phase 2—a journey that has been both enriching and transformative. Over this period, I had the privilege of teaching Class 8C and conducting various substitution periods, each contributing to my growth as a teacher. The day began on a special note as we conducted the school assembly in collaboration with KUCT Kunnam. Leading the assembly was a wonderful experience, allowing us to engage with the entire school community and set a positive tone for the day. During the 6th period, I conducted a remedial class based on insights gained from the diagnostic test held the previous day. The session focused on basic algebraic identities, ensuring that students developed a strong conceptual understanding rather than relying on rote memorization. It was interactive and engaging, with students responding positively and showing greater confidence in applying identities to problem-solving. They actively participated, asked questions, and sought clarifications, making the session highly productive. Leaving the school at 3:45 p.m. after the National Anthem was bittersweet. It marked the end of this journey, yet it also provided a moment of self-reflection on my growth and aspirations as a teacher. This experience has been transformative, teaching me the value of patience, adaptability, and the profound impact of a supportive learning environment. As I walked away, I realized how deeply this journey has shaped me, reinforcing my passion and commitment to becoming a better educator.
