SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- WEEK-2

 DAY 06(18/11/24,MONDAY)

Today was a rewarding day filled with interactive learning and meaningful student engagement. I arrived at school at 9:30 a.m., signed the attendance sheet, and prepared for the day ahead. One of the highlights was my substitution period in 7B, where I used PowerPoint to introduce number sequences and patterns, encouraging students to observe and analyze them critically. Their active participation and curiosity made the session enjoyable and reinforced the value of visual aids in teaching. Later, in my scheduled period, I successfully completed Lesson 6, ensuring students understood the concepts before moving forward. Their growing confidence in handling algebraic identities was evident, reflecting the impact of problem-solving activities and prior school experiences. Integrating technology and interactive learning methods significantly enhanced the lesson, making complex ideas more accessible. The enthusiasm and engagement of students reaffirmed my belief in the power of well-structured, interactive teaching. Every day presents new challenges and learning opportunities, and today was a reminder of how dynamic and fulfilling the teaching journey can be.

 DAY 07(19/11/24,TUESDAY)

Today was a lively and engaging day at school. After signing the attendance sheet, I was assigned a substitution period in Class 5, where I encountered an energetic group of students. To channel their enthusiasm productively, I engaged them with math puzzles suited to their level, which not only helped in managing the classroom effectively but also reinforced their mathematical thinking. Later, in my scheduled third-period class, I introduced the concept of the product of difference in identities, ensuring that students grasped the idea through clear explanations and problem-solving activities. The day concluded with the National Anthem, and we left school at 3:45 p.m. It was another fulfilling day, marked by interactive learning and meaningful student engagement.

 DAY 08(20/11/24,WEDNESDAY)

Today was a well-organized and productive day. After signing the attendance sheet, I initially thought I had no substitution periods, so I utilized the free time to prepare for my 6th-period class. During the lesson, I successfully completed Lesson 8, introducing the pattern of squares of sums as a difference through engaging activities. The two activities were highly interactive, capturing the students' interest and deepening their understanding. To further reinforce the concept, I conducted a group activity, dividing the students into five groups, which proved to be highly successful despite time constraints. Since today was the midterm exam for mathematics, some students sought clarification for their doubts. I made sure to address their concerns during my free period and interval, ensuring they felt confident before the exam. The day concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of another fulfilling day of teaching and student interaction.

 DAY 09(21/11/24,THURSDAY)

Today, on Day 9 of my teaching practice, I was unable to attend school due to a health issue and had to take a leave. While I regret missing a day of valuable classroom interactions, I recognize the importance of prioritizing my well-being to ensure that I can engage effectively with my students upon my return. This brief pause serves as a reminder that self-care is essential for maintaining the energy and enthusiasm needed for teaching. I look forward to resuming my practice with renewed focus and commitment.

 DAY 10(22/11/24,FRIDAY)

Today was a productive and fulfilling day as I completed Lesson Plans 9 and 10 during the 5th and 6th periods. After signing the attendance sheet, I was assigned two substitution periods—one in 7A and another in my own classroom—giving me a total of three teaching periods, including two consecutive sessions with my students. Since I was absent the previous day, I initially faced some challenges in managing the lesson flow, but I quickly adapted by assessing the students' prior knowledge before continuing the lesson. Beyond my teaching responsibilities, I actively participated in monitoring and evaluating the NAS exam, which provided valuable insights into student assessment methods and learning levels. Additionally, I was involved in serving the midday meal, allowing me to interact with students in a different setting and gain a deeper understanding of their overall school experience. Today's experiences reinforced the multifaceted role of a teacher, extending beyond the classroom. My involvement in exam monitoring, evaluation, and the midday meal program highlighted the importance of diverse teaching methods and holistic student engagement. As the day concluded, we participated in the National Anthem before leaving school at 3:45 p.m. It was a day of learning, adaptation, and meaningful student interactions.
