SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1- WEEK-8

      DAY 27

21/10/2024-MONDAY

I arrive at the school around 9:30 AM and begin by signing the attendance sheet in the HM's office. After that, I receive the day's schedule, which often includes a list of substitution classes. I have two scheduled periods with my assigned class, during the fifth and sixth periods, where I engage students in lessons or activities related to the subject. Additionally, I frequently take on substitution duties, stepping into other classes to ensure students are occupied with meaningful tasks or revision exercises.  I was also involved in monitoring the SAT exams. My role included overseeing the exam process, ensuring students adhered to the guidelines, and maintaining a calm and focused environment. After the exams were over, I assisted in evaluating the answer sheets, which gave me more insight into the assessment process. Once the day concludes with the national anthem, I make my way back, reflecting on the day's experiences and preparing for the next.

     DAY 28

22/10/2024-TUESDAY

I arrived at the school as usual around 9:30 AM and signed the attendance sheet. However, due to an educational strike, there were no regular classes scheduled for the day. Instead of teaching, I utilized the time to assist in evaluating the SAT exam papers, ensuring the assessments were completed accurately and efficiently. Since there were no other activities planned, I finished the task by midday and headed back home around 12:00 PM.

 DAY 29

23/10/2024-WEDNESDAY

I arrive at the school around 9:30 AM, sign the attendance sheet, and prepare for my scheduled classes. Recently, I started a new lesson on constructing trapeziums. During the class, I introduced the basic concepts and steps involved in drawing a trapezium accurately. The students were actively engaged throughout the lesson, asking questions and participating eagerly in the activities. It was encouraging to see them so interested in the topic, and their enthusiasm made the class more interactive and enjoyable. After completing the day's lessons, we concluded with the national anthem. Once the anthem was over, I gathered my things and headed back home, reflecting on the positive energy and engagement in the class.

DAY 30

24/10/2024-THURSDAY

During my usual school day, I typically arrive early to sign the attendance sheet and prepare for my classes. Recently, there was a special event as part of our college's NSS initiative, a conscientization program titled "REPLAST." The focus of this program was to raise awareness about plastics and their environmental impacts. The session was well-received, and it emphasized the importance of reducing plastic waste and adopting sustainable practices. On that same day, I conducted a physical education class in the 4th period for 8A. According to my lesson plan, I introduced the topic of choking and explained the necessary first aid measures. The class lasted around 15 minutes, and the students actively participated, showing keen interest in the demonstration of the first aid procedure for choking. In my scheduled 6th-period class with 8C, I continued with the topic of the construction of quadrilaterals, completing the remaining portion. The students were engaged, and I made sure to address any doubts they had, ensuring they understood the concepts clearly.

DAY 31
25/10/2024-FRIDAY
As usual, I arrived at school, signed in, and got ready for the day. I was assigned a substitution class for UP students, where I kept them engaged with various activities that they enjoyed and participated in actively.
Later, during my scheduled 5th period, I had a class with 8C. I successfully completed my 35th lesson plan, ensuring that the students grasped the concepts well. The class went smoothly, and I was pleased with how the lesson unfolded, as the students were attentive and responsive throughout.
