SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1- WEEK-6

    DAY 18

07/10/2024-MONDAY

On the day of the general observation, I reached the school at 9:15 AM and signed the attendance sheet in the HM's office. The day began with the morning assembly, where students gathered, and the school prayer was conducted.Later, I had the responsibility of invigilating the Math Fair competition, where students creatively made number charts and displayed their mathematical models. The fair was filled with enthusiasm as students proudly explained their projects. I observed their presentations closely, ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time. During the day, Mumthas Miss arrived for a general observation of my teaching practice. She observed my interactions with the students and my approach to managing the class. I was mindful to apply the teaching methods I've been practicing, and she gave valuable feedback afterward, highlighting areas where I performed well and suggesting a few improvements. Overall, the day was a blend of academic responsibility, creative student engagement, and insightful guidance from Mumthas Miss. It was a fulfilling experience.

    DAY 19

08/10/2024-TUESDAY

I reached the school at 9:15 AM and signed the attendance sheet in the HM's office. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as students were preparing their exhibits for the fair. After reviewing the day’s schedule, I headed to my class for the third period. During the third period, I had a session with class 8C. The class went smoothly as I engaged the students in interactive problem-solving activities. The students were attentive, and we worked through some interesting math problems, keeping the momentum of the day's academic focus. After my class, I took part in invigilating the Math Fair competition. It was inspiring to see students showcase their creativity through various mathematical models and charts. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and I enjoyed interacting with them as they explained the concepts behind their projects. In the afternoon, I participated in the noon meal session, where I helped distribute food to the students. It was a great opportunity to interact with them outside of class and be part of the school's daily routine. The day concluded with the national anthem, as the students gathered to mark the end of the school day. It was a fulfilling experience, balancing teaching, participation in the Math Fair, and sharing time with the students during the meal session.

DAY 20

09/10/2024-WEDNESDAY

I reached the school at 9:30 AM, signed the attendance sheet, and prepared for my classes. According to my timetable, I had a scheduled class with 8C during the sixth period. The lesson went smoothly as I continued with the unit on Constuction of Quadilaterals. The students were actively engaged, and I made use of charts and examples to clarify the key concepts. Later, during the seventh period, I was assigned a substitution class in 8C. Since I already had a session with them earlier, I decided to reinforce the concepts we covered in the morning and gave the students some extra problems to solve. Their participation was enthusiastic, and I was pleased to see them grasping the content well. In addition to teaching, I was assigned the duty of evaluating NAS (National Achievement Survey) exam answer sheets. The day concluded with the school's regular routine, including the national anthem. It was a productive day.

 DAY 21

10/10/2024-THURSDAY

I arrived at school around 9:15 AM and signed the attendance sheet as usual. The day started with an energetic school assembly, where certificates were awarded to students who had won prizes in the recently concluded School Kalolsavam. It was a proud moment for the students, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement as they received their well-deserved recognition. After the assembly, I had the responsibility of invigilating the Junior Red Cross quiz competition. It was a lively event with students showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm. During the forenoon, Mumthas Miss arrived for a general observation, but this time, it was not for me. She was there to observe two of my fellow teacher trainees who were also doing their teaching practice. I had two periods scheduled for the day, during the 5th and 6th periods with class 8C. These periods were crucial as they allowed me to complete the 21st lesson plan. The class went smoothly, and I was able to engage the students effectively, making sure the lesson was well-received and understood. The day ended on a positive note, with the school gathering for the national anthem. It was a fulfilling experience balancing classroom teaching, invigilating the quiz competition, and receiving valuable feedback from Mumthas Miss
