SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1- WEEK-2

  •  DAY 5

                  27/08/2024-Tuesday

We arrived at the school around 9:30 a.m. and signed the attendance register. According to the timetable, I had a period, but due to the upcoming Onam exams, I focused on revising the lessons for Class 8C. I was able to manage the class effectively, and the students actively participated in the revision. This teaching practice has truly been a valuable phase in developing my teaching skills and proficiency. I feel more connected to the school environment day by day. We left the school at 3:50 p.m. after the National Anthem.

  •  DAY 6

                     29/08/2024-Thursday

As usual, we reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register in the HM's room. Since it was Thursday, an assembly was conducted by the students of Class 8A, and we participated in the session. We also took part in the school's noon meal program. After lunch, I had a class with 8C during the sixth period, as per the timetable. I continued teaching the chapter "Money Math." Although the students were preoccupied with their upcoming Onam exams, I was able to manage the class well. We left the school at 3:45 p.m. after the National Anthem.

  •  DAY 7
               30/08/2024-Friday

As usual, we arrived at the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register in the HM's office. We participated in the school's noon meal program before heading to our respective duties. After lunch, I conducted a class with 8C during the sixth period, following the timetable, and continued teaching the chapter "Money Math." In addition to my regular class, we assisted the teachers with the administration of the SAT exam and helped in evaluating the answer sheets. These tasks provided us with valuable experience in handling assessments and supporting the school's operations.

Day by day, we are becoming more integrated into the school environment, building stronger connections with both the staff and students. This attachment has made our teaching practice even more fulfilling and engaging. We left the school at 3:45 p.m., as usual, after the National Anthem, reflecting on another productive and rewarding day.
