FIELD TRIP SEMESTER 2
The field trip aims to provide B.Ed. trainees with an opportunity to explore educational, cultural, and historical landmarks in Thiruvananthapuram, enhancing their understanding of practical teaching methodologies, heritage, and community engagement. Visiting the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Napier Museum gave me a deeper appreciation for Kerala's rich cultural and historical heritage. I now realize how important it is to integrate cultural understanding into my lessons to help students appreciate their own roots and history .Being in Thiruvananthapuram helped me feel more connected to the broader educational community. It made me reflect on how field trips and outdoor learning experiences can provide students with new perspectives and deeper learning. This trip taught me that education is much more than just textbooks and exams. It's about broadening perspectives, nurturing curiosity, and helping students connect the dots between theory and the world around them.
